The brainchild of Leonard Green, One Love Prison Nation (OLPN) is a small business established to provide an avenue for former felons to counsel young men and help them avoid the the same mistakes that they made.
Leonard grew up in the mean streets of Oakland, California. He saw many of his friends, and some family members, incarcerated for long periods of time during the late 60's and early 70's.
Some of them have just been recently released and many do not have family to rely on after such long periods of incarceration.
Several years ago, Leonard tried to provide these now senior citizens with an opportunity to share their stories with today's youth in an attempt to keep them from throwing their lives away. Their Prison Stories can be found on his original website www.i-streamlive.com.
In an effort to help, Leonard has pledged to donate will donate 10% of all OLPN sales to a fund to assist former felons with funeral services.
Joyce Ward-Green is not only the owner of HandMade4U, but she is also the artist who creates all the handmade items sold. Joyce has been crafting for more than 40 years. She is self-taught and is still learning and developing new skills.
